Software: Identify where the cells within your gate fall in the all events plot, using the "Back Gate"

Back gating helps to identify where the cells within your gate fall, within the all events plot.  Back gating helps confirm your gating strategy, particularly for forward scatter vs. side scatter.  

When you select a population or gate and choose ‘Show Backgate’, ForeCyt® Software on the iQue3 advanced flow cytometry platform, creates an overlay plot on FSC-H vs. SSC-H.  The input population is All Events.  

ForeCyt® then displays the selected populations superimposed on the All Events populations, as shown in the following video.
