Immuno-oncology (IO) is a rapidly developing therapeutic approach, which harnesses the precision of the immune system, to allow for a targeted approach in the killing of cancer cells, whilst sparing healthy cells.
A rapid increase in recent clinical approvals has been seen, for both cell-based and antibody approaches. However, many obstacles remain in the development and understanding of these therapeutics.
Through the introduction of live-cell analysis, researchers can increase their biological insights, in supporting the development of future therapeutics.
