Software: Automatically identify populations of interest with 'Smart Gate'

Gates used during flow cytometry data analysis aren’t 100% accurate even with a template.  The integrated ForeCyt® Software on the iQue3 advanced flow cytometry platform addresses this issue with “Smart gate”, which automatically identifies the population of interest by centering itself on the closest dense area on the graph.  

In case of multi-plate experiments where a cell population might shift over time, Smart gate will essentially "snap" to the area of highest density.  When a gate designated as a Smart Gate is copied, exported or turned into a template, that gate will stay designated as a Smart Gate.  If it is applied to new data or the data is updated the Smart Gate location will be recalculated.
