  • Label-free: Based on our HD Imaging technique, quantitation of cellular invasion does not require a cell labeling step.
  • Kinetic read-out: The spatio-temporal format of the invasion assay allows investigators to follow both the rate and the extent of cell invasion for a given set of experimental variables. This feature can be used to explore time-dependent pharmacology, improve assay optimization (e.g. ECM concentration, cell density), and enhance assay sensitivity

ECM components are formulated from real tissue, and as a consequence vary from prepration to preparation and supplier to supplier. We have validated specific lots of Becton Dickinson (BD) reagents to ensure reliable performance in the CellPlayer Invasion Assay system.
