July 2011: Essen BioScience has just released a line of biologically quality controlled extracellular matrix components for use in its CellPlayer Invasion assay. The ECM components have been thoroughly tested to insure performance and remove the wasted time and expense associated with lot variability. April 2011: Essen BioScience has just released a 96-well cell invasion assay. The CellPlayer Cell Invasion assay for the first time allows researchers to follow both cell migration and 3-D invasion on the same plate, kinetically, and without using cell labels. Jan 2011: Essen BioScience recorded its 7th consecutive year of revenue growth in 2010. Kirk Schroeder, President of Essen comments, " I am very proud of this past year's growth in the face of a tough economic environment in the life science industry. I believe very much in the future of our organic growth model; coupling continued scientific excellence and innovation with our expanding global direct sales team." Jan 2011: Essen BioScience opens wholly-owned subsidiary in Tokyo, Japan. Subsidiary will serve as home base for direct sales of Essen BioScience products in Asia-Pacific region
